Andrew Davies

Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and has specialised in property law ever since, he has over 34 years experience in this area. He has been with MCP  since 1994 and is the Managing Partner of the firm. 

Andrew has extensive experience in dealing with commercial property transactions including acquisitions and disposals of commercial properties and commercial leases – acting for landlords and tenants.  He is the firm's lead lawyer dealing with agricultural property transactions, including leases.

Andrew works closely with the Business Department in the property aspects of business acquisitions and sales.

As Managing Partner of the firm Andrew has hands on business experience of running a successful firm (under his management the firm has grown in size, opening an office in Ely and relocation to modern premises in Peterborough with parking).  Andrew brings that experience to assist with his client's business affairs.

Andrew also deals with residential property including residential development, site acquisition, planning agreements and plot disposal.

Andrew makes a point of communicating with his clients in a friendly manner so that they always understand what is happening.  He prides himself in being able to take commercially minded decisions to achieve a satisfactory conclusion for his clients rather than letting legal arguments get in the way of a deal.
