Sarah is a Partner in the firm. She qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2008, having worked in the law for many years prior to that as a secretary and then an assistant. She is the Head of the Probate Department and specialises in Wills, the administration of estates, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection proceedings.
Sarah is a member of STEP (The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) having passed the Diploma in Trusts and Estates - England and Wales in 2010.
Sarah has experience in handling estates at all levels of complexity, from relatively straightforward to those where there are substantial assets, trusts or other matters which require particular expertise and experience. She deals with estates which require expertise concerning Business Property Relief and Agricultural Property Relief.
Sarah has a wide experience of Office of the Public Guardian /Court of Protection work including Deputyship applications. She manages the day to day running of affairs on behalf of Deputies.
Sarah is also a full accredited member of the Solicitors for the Elderly which focuses on four key areas of :-
- Specialist client care skills for dealing with older and vulnerable clients
- Paying for care
- Wills, estate planning, trusts and probate.
