Tim Bartlam


Tim joined MCP’s Criminal Law Department in April 2014 having worked at another local firm for 14 years. Tim qualified as a Solicitor in 1972 after working at a law centre in London offering free legal advice to members of the community. In 1975 he joined a local firm before starting his own firm in 1991 until 2000.

As a duty solicitor Tim deals with a wide range of cases ranging from summary only offences in he local magistrates' court to indictable only offences in the Crown Court. Tim has practised in this region for nearly 40 years and has gained a wealth of experience, having seen Criminal Law practice change dramatically over the years. He is well known in the area as being an extremely experienced advocate.
