Mayor's Business Awards at King's Lynn

On Friday night, MCP had the pleasure of attending the Mayor’s Business Awards in King’s Lynn. Now in it’s 30th year, the Mayor’s Business Awards recognise achievement and contribution to the local economy. Businesses can be nominated for a range of awards; including employee of the year, customer care and small business of the year.

This year, MCP were pleased to sponsor the ‘Leisure and Tourism’ category which acknowledges businesses in that area who have shown commercial success, growth and investment and added value to King's Lynn and West Norfolk  areas.

It was  extremely difficult to choose between the three finalists of True's Yard, the Majestic Cinema and the Princess Theatre. Our team of judges were able to visit each of the finalists to see for themselves what each business offers to the local economy.

In the end, our judges decided the deserving  winner to be the Princess Theatre in Hunstanton in recognition of many years of hard work to transform the theatre into the vibrant and successful business that it is today which offers a wide range of entertainment. The Princess Theatre has sell out shows even in off peak seasons and also aids other local businesses such as restaurants and hotels, meaning it is a truly deserving of the award.

MCP would like to extend their warmest congratulations to all the nominees, finalists and winners.
