MCP's brave Lisa Hardy will be abseiling from Peterborough Cathedral this Friday 18th May to raise funds for Shine, a charity which provides support to those with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus and their families.

MCP has previously supported Shine with other fund raising events but Lisa’s efforts will require more determination!

“I have to say this will not come easy as my last attempt at abseiling took place when I was 11, was from a height significantly lower than 150 feet and I seem to have developed a fear of heights over the years! Shine is such a worthy cause, I am determined to overcome my fears.” said Lisa.

Lisa will start her abseil at 12pm on Friday and a number of MCP staff will be there to support her. Lisa’s fund raising page for Shine is at https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/LisaHardy8
