Great East Anglian Run 2016

Following MCP's recent Sport Relief success, a team from MCP has signed up to take part in the Kings Lynn Great East Anglian Run 2016. Taking place on Sunday 1st May, the 10k run will follow a route through Kings Lynn. With the course going right past our Kings Lynn office on King Street, we thought we would join in the fun! Could we be the sportiest solicitors in town?

Our team of seven runners comes from all our four offices based in Kings Lynn, Thetford, Peterborough and Wisbech. Most of us are novices but what we lack in experience we will make up for in enthusiasm! We are running to raise money for the Kings Lynn Child Contact Centre which provides a volunteer run service assisting children in maintaining contact with a non-resident parent.

With only a few weeks to go, we have been training very hard; running to answer to the telephone, lunging up the stairs, weightlifting files and racing to court. And with seven of us running, that is a total of 70k! We wish April, Holly, Sam, Kori, Helen P, Helen R and Samera good luck over the next couple of weeks as they prepare.
