MCP Solicitors and Personal Injury

At MCP Solicitors we have many years of experience in bringing Personal Injury claims on behalf of people injured in road traffic accidents, at work, tripping or slipping, criminal assaults and other situations. We have recently been listed in the Legal 500 for our work in this area.

MCP Solicitors' Personal Injury lawyers have been involved in multi-million pound cases but are also happy to take on cases where as little as £1000 is at stake.

MCP Solicitors' Personal Injury lawyers act almost exclusively for Claimants and aim to ensure not only that they receive the maximum amount of compensation but also that, where possible, they receive the best possible medical treatment, paid for by the insurers of the person or organisation at fault.

In most cases you keep 100% of your compensation. Generally our fees will be paid by the losing party so you don't need to worry.

Unlike many firms MCP Solicitors has no tie-ins with Personal Injury claims organisations. We operate a No Win No Fee scheme so if you lose there is nothing to pay.

There are other ways to pay. For example MCP Solicitors' Personal Injury lawyers are happy to take on cases where there is already funding through a pre-existing policy of legal expenses insurance.

It is not essential that you use the solicitors appointed by your insurers. Sometimes legal expenses insurers direct you to a solicitor of their choosing, not yours. Their solicitor will almost certainly not be local and due to this you will probably not be able to meet them in person.

You do not have to accept this. Often under the terms of your insurance you can insist on using your own solicitor; if not we may well be able to offer you a Personal Injury No Win No Fee agreement.

Although in recent times there has been talk of a compensation culture our Personal Injury lawyers find that most people who come to us are genuine and many are looking for no more than the replacement of lost income and/or an apology.

Where there are sensitive issues, for example you still work at the place where you had the accident, MCP Solicitors' Personal Injury lawyers will talk through the implications of making a claim so that any Personal Injury claim only proceeds if you feel comfortable.

We have solicitors who are members of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel. To qualify for panel membership you have to meet strict guidelines regarding knowledge, skills and experience. These are independently and rigorously assessed by the Law Society.
