Our Dispute Resolution lawyers will also discuss the most appropriate method of funding any action, whether that be legal expenses insurance, a No Win No Fee agreement or, in some cases, Public Funding.

Cases worth less than £5000

In these cases we may be able to offer a fee not exceeding £250 plus VAT, where court proceedings do not become necessary.

Where we have to issue court proceedings we may be able to offer a fee not exceeding £750 plus VAT. This fee does not include any pre issue work.

If judgment is obtained we should be able to assist you in enforcing that, for a fee not exceeding £250 plus VAT. This does not include taking bankruptcy proceedings.

The fees quoted are our fees and do not include court fees which are payable in most cases, when starting court proceedings. We can advise as to the level of those court fees once we know the amount you are claiming.

Our fees do also not include any other expenses that may become payable as claims progress such as expert witness fees. In our experience it is rare for experts to be involved in cases worth less than £5000 so in the majority of cases it will only be our fees and court fees which are payable.
