Simon Scott has been with MCP since 1989 and qualified as a solicitor within the firm.
Simon is head of the firm’s Wills and Probate department. He holds a diploma in Trusts and Estates Law and is also a registered Trust and Estates Practitioner. Aside from preparing all manner of Wills and managing estate administration work, Simon has for over 25 years conducted civil litigation work. He has a particular interest in probate related litigation, such as claims (both taking and defending) under the Inheritance Act. Simon also has a wide experience of Court of Protection work, having been appointed Deputy by the Court of Protection in a substantial number of cases.
