John Clarke joined MCP Solicitors in 2002 and is Administrator of his local Duty Solicitor Committee. He has been practising criminal law for over thirty three years and regularly deals with police station, Magistrates and Crown Court work, as well as appeals to the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division).
He has had experience of extensive and wide ranging types of cases including one which reached the House of Lords. He also acts for prisoners with regard to Written and Oral Parole representations before Lifer and Recall Panels, general Human Rights issues, Adjudications before Governors and District Judges and Judicial Review applications in the Administrative court of the Supreme Court.
During the course of his Prison law, and appeal work he also has occasion to deal with the Criminal Cases Review Commission applications.
