MCP Recognised By The Legal 500
Metcalfe Copeman & Pettefar Solicitors has been listed in the Legal 500 for their excellence in various areas of law.
The firm has specifically been picked out for three areas of their practice - Health & Safety, Crime and Personal Injury.
The Legal 500 said of the firm's Health & Safety department "It provides 'excellent and responsive service' and attracts praise from a leading plc for its understanding of the retail sector."
The firm has represented many large companies regarding Health & Safety including WH Smith and Wickes, but also assists many smaller local clients.
The Criminal department was given particular praise saying that "All the lawyers have an excellent grasp of the issues."
The firm's criminal lawyers deal with wide ranging work varying from representing clients in Police Stations and Court to commercial crime, prison law and prosecutions. They have also helped a number of clients with motoring offences.
MCP's Personal Injury department was noted for its work in road traffic accidents, accidents at work and trip and slip claims. They have worked on multi-million pound cases, but also regularly take on cases where as little as £1000 is at stake.
