Chatteris Breakfast Seminar

On Thursday 10th July MCP Solicitors joined with Whiting & Partners Accountants to provide another breakfast seminar for local businesses.
The event took place at the South Fens Business Centre in Chatteris and was well attended by a variety of local businesses from farmers, to office suppliers and engineers.
During the seminar speakers guided delegates through topics such as the new Companies Act (which is due to come into force fully next year) and recent tax changes.
While these are often considered not to be the most exciting of topics they are essential for business and the experienced speakers ensured that the audience was kept entertained throughout.
Following the event Richard Carlson, from MCP Solicitors said: "These popular events are extremely important for helping small businesses stay on top of changes in regulation.
"It can be a minefield out there for small businesses that often need knowledge of more areas than is realistically practical. Events like this seminar help them keep up to date with ever-changing regulations and give them a chance to ask local experts any questions they might have."
