Thetford Team Shoots For Glory

Tim Stevenson, of Metcalfe Copeman & Pettefar Solicitors, led his Thetford team to glory at a simulated wild bird flush on 21st May.
The event, organised by Sentry Farms and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution and sponsored by The Natwest Agricultural Division, was a 100 bird flush held at Burrows Hill Farm, Chatteris.
100 clay pigeons were let off at a time and each team had 3 minutes to shoot as many as possible. The Metcalfe Copeman & Pettefar team beat 20 teams to score the most by a margin of 3 clays! Coming second was another Thetford team, hosted by Enviro-Waste.
The winning team was made up of Tim Stevenson - Metcalfe Copeman & Pettefar, Jo Pearson, Pearsons Thetford, Mike Brown - Lovewell Blake and Michael Mason - Congham Farms.
