Knowledge for Business King's Lynn Conference

Tim Stevenson spoke to delegates about the new Companies Act 2006

On Thursday 7th June MCP joined forces with Stephenson Smart Accountants to provide a conference to businesses in the King's Lynn area.

The event, held at the Knight's Hill Hotel, was an opportunity for local businesses to learn more about the Companies Act 2006, which comes into force this Autumn, Inheritance Tax, Health & Safety and other important issues.

Many speakers presented interesting topics. Including Tim Stevenson, who spoke on the Companies Act, Clive Dodds who presented information on a variety of tax issues and Alison Muir, who spoke on many legal issues easily missed by businesses such as penalty points on licenses and the full implications of new smoking laws.

Any businesses interested in receiving notes on this event or attending future conferences should contact Ellie Ryder on 01842 756124 or ellie.ryder@mcp-law.co.uk
