After much hard work two MCP trainees have qualified as soliciors. Robert Colwell is working in the Family department specialising in divorce, children matters and legally aided work, while Louisa Mawbey deals mainly with Wills, Probate and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
Their time training means they spent many years gaining experience not only in their chosen fields but also others. So when clients visit they will understand all issues potentially affecting their case.
Away from work Robert and Louisa are both active in the local community. Robert is the representative for young lawyers in the West Norfolk Law Society and is also extremely active in the Save Legal Aid campaign.
Louisa has helped organise many events for trainees and now young solicitors. She has also been working on the Clarkson events in Wisbech this year.
Alison Muir, head of training, said of their achievement "I am extremely proud of Robert and Louisa. I have been watching their progress for some time and they were excellent trainees who will now be excellent solicitors."
