Christopher Fraser, MP for South West Norfolk, visited the Thetford branch of Metcalfe Copeman & Pettefar on Friday 15th December 2006. Christopher was visiting Tim Stevenson, head of MCP's Commercial Department and Parliamentary Officer for the Norfolk Law Society, and as such the link between local solicitors and Parliament.

He met all of the local staff and thanked MCP for continuing to provide the full range of legal services for all sectors of the community in Thetford and surrounding area.

Christopher said of his visit "I was pleased to visit Metcalfe Copeman & Pettefar's Thetford office, and very much enjoyed meeting members of the team. I was extremely impressed by MCP's public service ethos, and the wide variety of Legal Aid work that the firm undertakes for the community in Thetford and the wider rural area of South West Norfolk.

"They, like me, are concerned for the future public funding of Legal Services in the light of Government policy, and I shall be tabling questions in Parliament about a number of issues that we discussed."
