On Thursday 10th July MCP Solicitors joined with Whiting & Partners Accountants to provide another breakfast seminar for local businesses. The event took place at the South Fens Business Centre and was well attended by a variety of local businesses from farmers to office suppliers and engineers.

Lyn Jahangir, a Legal Executive Advocate at MCP Solicitors' Wisbech office, has had her membership to the Law Society's Children's Panel renewed. Lyn Jahangir was the first Legal Executive in England to be admitted to the Panel five years ago and is extremely proud of this achievement.

The Thetford branch of MCP Solicitors has welcomed a new member to their team - Portuguese lawyer Paula Fernandes. Paula is a Portuguese legal consultant who did her training in Lisbon and is now with MCP Solicitors helping the Portuguese speaking population of East Anglia with their legal issues.

After much hard work two MCP trainees have qualified as solicitors. Robert Colwell is working in the Family department specialising in divorce, children matters and legally aided work, while Louisa Mawbey deals mainly with Wills, Probate and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
